error con netbeans 6.0.1

Hola a todos!!!
estoy realizando una aplicación en el netbeans y nada mas q arranco el programa me da este error.
A java.lang.NullPointerException exception has occurred.

The messages.log file is located in your C:Documents and Settings.netbeans6.0varlog folder.
El caso es que puedo programar bien y hasta ejecutar el programa pero no me deja hacer debug ya q cuando le doy a debug me da este error.
The service org.netbeans.modules.debugger.jpda.projects.SourcePathProviderImpl can not be created.
Si alguien me puede ayudar

es por que esta mal instalado, o tmabien puedes ser por que existe alguna libreria que te falte
