hola, tengo un problema con el mysql en red hat 9. Resulta q tengo instalado el paquete rpm del servidor y cuando voy a ejecutar el demonio de mysql, me sale el siguiente mensaje:
Iniciando base de datos MySQL: Sorry, the host 'Penti4' could not be looked up.
Please configure the 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname.
If you want to solve this at a later stage, restart this script with
the --force option

Esto es con el comando /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start. A ver si me podéis echar un cable. Gracias
