conectar a informix con PHP

Necesito conectar a informix utilizando PHP, pero me da el siguiente error:
Warning: ifx_connect(): E [SQLSTATE=IX 001 SQLCODE=-1829] in c:appservwwwexperimento.php on line 18
La descripci贸n del error es:
Cannot open file citoxmsg.pam.
The file citoxmsg.pam is missing from the directory $INFORMIXDIR/msg
Estoy desesperada, ya no se que hacer, si alguien sabe la soluci贸n me gustar铆a que me la comunicara.

Ayer instal茅 informix 7.31.UD6 en windows 2000 y me pasaba lo mismo.
Me he bajado el ibm client-sdk (http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/preconfig.jsp?id=2003-03-18+12%3A39%3A34.356912C&cat=database&fam=&s=c&S_TACT=&S_CMP=) y se me ha solucionado el problema.
