Servlet que abra (outlook, iexplorer, word...)

Tamos haciendo un Servlet que al recibir "nombre=iexplorer.exe" lo abra o el programa que le pasemos, estamos usando:
Runtime.getRuntime().exec(req.getParameter("nombre"));
Runtime.getRuntime().exec(req.getParameter("nombre"));
