Este error me da el Servidor

Una de dos:
O el servidor no tienes el mdac para la conexion ole db de to base de datos ó estas haciendo mal la conexión!!!
Si deseas mas ayuda ya tienes mi email.

i have the same problem, however, im unable to fix it as well,
the best explaination was found here, however, the solution implied there is beyond my budget.

Communications link failure. COMM RC=0x5
The return code 5 is returned by R313 or later of Client Access when it is unable to verify security information. Some examples include:
o (TCP/IP connection) Central Server or Signon Server daemon not started. See II09863 list above.
o (TCP/IP connection) No system is configured in the registry but the application is running as a Windows service program. This includes programs such as Internet Information Server and Microsoft SQL server. To resolve the problem upgrade to Client Access Express.

Aunque hace mucho tiempo pasaste por este error, quiero saber si lo pudiste solucionar de alguna manera ya que hasta ahora tengo que conectar una db2 con asp y me esta reportando el mismo error.

Cualquier ayudita, Gracias!!!
