Perl Developer
A local client is seeking a strong Perl Developer for a permanent position. This developer will be heavily involved in the development and implementation of complex web-based applications for the client.
Responsibilities:
聲 Design, plan, recommend, develop and implement project specific software.
聲 Assume accountability for the successful completion of project with established procedures and processes.
聲 Participate in the formulation and recommendation of technical specifications and provide professional consultation and guidance to team members.
Required skills:
聲 Strong experience in object-oriented Perl
聲 Experience in complex relational database design
聲 Possess a working knowledge of expert systems
聲 Exceptional skills in communication, customer service, teamwork and adherence to technical standards and procedures.
聲 Committed to hard work and dedicated to quality in all aspects of the project
聲 Knowledge of web development standards
Education:
聲 Bachelor聮s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field preferred; or, equivalent technical training and experience with development experience.
