Queria saber como puedo hacer para crear archivos txt en VB6.

Dim fso, txt
Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set txt = fso.CreateTextFile("" & App.Path & "MiFichero.txt", True)

para escribir en el fichero seria: txt.writeline ("el texto")

Para cerrar el fichero: txt.close
